Little Gems 2017 Anthology

Beneath the Waves was written as an entry in the Romance Writers’ of Australia “Little Gems” competition in January 2017. The theme was onyx, and the story had to be around 3000 words. The winning stories were then published in an anthology by RWA, which is available as an ebook or paperback from Amazon from August 2017.

The proceeds from the sale of the book help RWA continue its amazing support for aspiring, emerging and established romance authors. I would encourage everyone interested in Australian romance stories to buy an anthology – for just a few dollars outlay, you get to be a supporter of the romance industry. How cool is that? I’ve bought four copies.

And my story? In the warm waters of Fiji, Sally, a tough-talking salvage operator and Pete, a big-city museum curator, find sunken treasure. It means the world to Sally – she has spent her life (and her last dollar) searching for this wreck. But Pete thinks history should be shared with the world, not sold for profit. And the history of this treasure can be traced back generations to the gods of Mother India. Who will win the battle? And who will lose their heart?
